"The Let's Go See program has been instrumental in our efforts to spread awareness of the need for annual eye exams for school-aged children. We feel honored to help families provide eye exams and glasses to their children, and look forward to continuing our mission every year."

Sue Hopeman, EVP, Chief Merchandising Officer for Visionworks

Between dental checkups, doctor's exams, and everything else we do to keep our kids healthy, it's easy to forget about our children's vision. Many parents wait until their child has expressed an issue with their vision before taking them for an eye exam, but according to Prevent Blindness America, 1 in 4 school-aged children in the United States have a vision problem, which if left untreated can affect learning ability, personality, and adjustments in school. This is why Visionworks launched Let's Go See, a program dedicated to providing 15,000 free eye exams and glasses to children in need.

"Visionworks are proud of the positive impact Let's Go See has had since it began in 2015. We have successfully been able to raise awareness of the importance of yearly eye exams, as well as provide eye exams and glasses to children whose families may not be able to afford them otherwise," said Sue Hopeman.

The Let's Go See initiative works to spread awareness of the importance of yearly eye exams, in addition to providing comprehensive eye exams and free glasses and lenses to children in need across the country. The eye exams and glasses are available through the use of a voucher, redeemable for a comprehensive eye exam as well as a pair of $69.95 frames with polycarbonate lenses.

If you know someone that would like to be a part of this incredible program, you can nominate a child, school, or organization in your community at LetsGoSee.net. The website features a nomination page where you can request a voucher for a free eye exam and pair of glasses. With your help, Visionworks can continue to make a difference in children's lives with the gift of clear vision.
